**1. When should I book my baby's cake smash session?**
I recommend booking your cake smash session at least 3–4 weeks before your baby's first birthday. This gives us plenty of time to plan your theme, coordinate details, and schedule your session.
**2. When should we schedule the session?**
Most families schedule their cake smash session a few weeks before their baby's first birthday so they can use their photos for birthday invitations, party decorations, and announcements.
**3. What is included in a cake smash session?**
Your session includes a one-hour studio photography experience designed to celebrate your baby's milestone. We'll capture adorable portraits and all the fun, messy moments of the cake smash!
**4. Do you provide the cake?**
Cake arrangements can be discussed when booking. Please let me know if you would like to bring your own cake or need recommendations for a local baker.
**5. Can we choose our own theme?**
Absolutely! I love helping families create a setup that reflects their little one's personality. Share your theme, color palette, or inspiration photos with me so we can plan something special.

You can bring a special birthday outfit, a cake smash outfit, or an adorable romper. Many parents choose one outfit for portraits and another for the cake smash. Simple outfits often work beautifully!

That's perfectly okay! Some babies dive right in, while others prefer to explore slowly or aren't interested in the cake at all. I'll capture your baby's genuine personality and reactions without forcing them to participate.

Please let me know when booking if you'd like family portraits included. We can discuss the best way to incorporate parents or siblings into your session.

That's part of the fun! Cake smashing is meant to be messy, so bring a change of clothes, a towel, and anything you need to clean up your little one afterward.
**10. How long does a cake smash session last?**
My cake smash sessions are scheduled for approximately one hour. This allows time for portraits, the cake smash, and cleanup as needed.
**11. How much does a cake smash session cost?**
Cake smash sessions are $300 for a one-hour studio session. A $100 deposit is required to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due according to your booking agreement.
**12. When will we receive our photos?**
Your edited gallery will be delivered according to the turnaround time outlined in your booking agreement. Please let me know if you need your images by a specific date for a birthday celebration.
**13. What if my baby is sick on the day of the session?**
Your baby's health comes first! Please contact me as soon as possible if your little one is sick so we can discuss rescheduling options.
**14. How do we book our cake smash session?**
Booking is easy! Contact Creative Creationz Photography to discuss your preferred date, theme, and session details. Once your booking agreement is completed and your deposit is paid, your session date will be reserved.
